QDVC commitment towards Health and Safety was rewarded on the LRT project by obtaining during five consecutive year, the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award.
In 2020, the LRT have been awarded a RoSPA Gold Medal in the category of achievements award in Occupational Health & Safety. It demonstrates the project continual improvement in health and safety management systems and employee leadership in health and safety.
The RoSPA Health & Safety Awards offer organizations a prime opportunity to benchmark safety performance year on year and ensure consistent performance between sites. They also provide an effective route to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards.
It is one of the most prestigious and recognized schemes in the world, with almost 2000 entries every year and a reach of over 7 million employees.
In 2018, the LRT Project has also won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe.
In their 60th year, the International Safety Awards recognize and celebrate organizations from around the world which have demonstrated, to the scheme’s independent judge’s satisfaction, their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health.
