Extending its support towards the breast cancer awareness month, QDVC has organized a breast cancer awareness event on Monday, 11th of October 2021. The aim is to raise awareness among the staff and encourage them to adopt healthy lifestyles to prevent cancers.
Since 2015, QDVC is conducting every year the “International Safety Week” event. It is a company-wide awareness campaign, targeting all levels of our organization, to pause and remind ourselves about our commitment to safety. All projects contribute to the ISW by involving their employees, partners and subcontractors. It is a great opportunity to remind the team of the importance of safety on site. It’s about coming together to protect one another, and making sure we all get home safe every day.
For the 7th consecutive year, QDVC organized its ISW under the theme “I am aware of major risks, I share them, together we save lives”.

For the 6th consecutive year, QDVC organized its ISW under the theme “Just say STOP, in hazardous situations, silence can kill!” This year, QDVC focused on the last step of “productive and safe”” Works execution in which we find “the STOP”
Qatar Rail managing director Abdulla Abdulaziz al-Subaie and the RLS JV project team have celebrated the approval of the first underground station, the Metro Red Line’s Al Doha Al Jadeeda, by Qatar’s Civil Defence. Congratulations to the project team as well as everyone who has participated in this project.

The calamity has caused immeasurable misery and devastation. Many lives were lost. Hundreds of homes were totally destroyed and many were damaged.
For the first time in history, 35 dams in the State had to be opened. Never before had the State witnessed a calamity of this scale. In the fight against the flood, the people have braved the odds.
