Delivering a New Vision

QDVC participated for the 5th year in a row to the 12th edition of Qatar University (QU) Career Fair, held from 5 to 8 March, 2018.

Since the launch of the first National Sport Day in 2012 by His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, QDVC, the local construction company with International standards, has demonstrated it support to the Sports day by organising a corporate event in Lusail at LRT site offices, in continued effort to raise awareness about the importance and value of physical activity to the overall health and well-being of its employees and family members.

Official signing of an agreement on workers' rights between Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI), Qatari Diar VINCI Construction (QDVC) and VINCI: a world premiere on these issues in Qatar.


Resulting from discussions that began in December 2014, the Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI), a global union federation signed today an agreement with QDVC (a Qatari shareholding company with two shareholders: Qatari Diar Real Estate Investments Company and VINCI Construction Grands Projects) and VINCI, a French-based global player in concessions and construction.


Following the first opening which occurred in April 2017, allowing functional use of approximately 18km of the highway from North of Salwa Road to Dukhan Highway, Ashghal has inaugurated the first phase of the New Orbital Highway and Truck Route in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Communications, H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, Minister of Municipality and Environment, H.E. Mr. Hassan Abdullah Al Thawadi, Secretary General of the supreme committee for delivery and legacy, H.E. Dr. Eng. Saad Bin Ahmed Al Muhannadi, President of the Public Works Authority. As well as QDVC & Bin Omran JV representatives with Nasser Al Ansari, QDVC chairman, Philippe Tavernier, QDVC CEO, Adel Haydar QDVC Deputy CEO and Hamad Al Marri CSSO in addition to Dori Labaki, the CEO of Bin Omran.

The additional new section of the NOH 2 include the opening of 18 km with 3 lines in each direction which allows the connection between Dukhan Highway to Al Shamal Road, providing alternative routes away from Doha and reducing traffic congestion in the city.
