Delivering a New Vision

The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs celebrated the International Workers’ Day 2018 , to highlight the importance of workers in Qatar and in recognition of their efforts in the development and growth of the country. QDVC , represented by Hamad Bakhit Al Marri participated for the second time through a sponsoring to this event and was awarded by the Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, H E Dr Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi for the company’s participation and support as a silver sponsor.

QDVC participated for the 5th year in a row to the 12th edition of Qatar University (QU) Career Fair, held from 5 to 8 March, 2018.

Since the launch of the first National Sport Day in 2012 by His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, QDVC, the local construction company with International standards, has demonstrated it support to the Sports day by organising a corporate event in Lusail at LRT site offices, in continued effort to raise awareness about the importance and value of physical activity to the overall health and well-being of its employees and family members.

Official signing of an agreement on workers' rights between Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI), Qatari Diar VINCI Construction (QDVC) and VINCI: a world premiere on these issues in Qatar.

 

Resulting from discussions that began in December 2014, the Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI), a global union federation signed today an agreement with QDVC (a Qatari shareholding company with two shareholders: Qatari Diar Real Estate Investments Company and VINCI Construction Grands Projects) and VINCI, a French-based global player in concessions and construction.
